[ASME Sec. V Art.24 SE-165] 8.9.2 Visible Light Examination—Inspect parts tested with Type 2 visible penetrant under either natural or artificial visible light. Proper illumination is required to ensure adequate sensitivity of the examination. A minimum light intensity at the examination surface of 100 fc [1076 lx] is required (see Guide E2297 for more information).
